Due to circumstances beyond my control, tonights drinking plans will not be going ahead as planned.
They have been postponed until next week.

Went to doctors day before birthday. I have Tonsifuckinglitus!I can't believe how sick I am....ON MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY!! :'(
Here is how I spent my birthday yesterday.
Got high fever night before birthday. Got hardly any sleep, waking up in sweats, then shaking uncontrolably from being so damn cold
Woke up, can barely talk. Manage to talk Martin into taking me into work to give Gambo my doctors certificate. Main reason being so that he sees that I'm not just chucking a sickie on my birthday, but I'm really on deaths bed.
- Come home.
- Sleep.
- Wake up with fever.
- Sleep more.
- Even worse fever.
- Don't eat all day, still haven't eaten!
- Glands the size of mountains!
So today I'm still swallowing razor blades and can barely move, so no drinking tonight for Kara.
What a FUCKED UP BIRTHDAY.

WELL, yesterday was Awsome!
Dad is the Captain of some Pistol and Rifle Club somewhere around here, so went down to Castlemain with him to have a shot for the first time in the comp for the 300metres shoot...
First time I got a score of 89.2 out of 100 (btw, you get 10 shots and you get 10 points for the middle, 10.1 for a bullseye, then further out, the lower the number etc....) with 2 of them being Bullseyes (a better score than the Castlemain Club Captain for that round who got 85) and then on my second shoot got 95.3 out of 100, beating dad and alot of the guys!
Allow me to point out that it was the hardest target possible (very small) with the bullseye being not much bigger than a 50 cent coin from close to half a kilometre away!
I won a trophy cup for being the best in my class for the day at the meeting afterwards, and it was my first time shooting a rifle ever!!! I was the only girl. The guys who normally shoot were spewing...
Now the Captain of the club is pushing for me to become a member and train with them!
My chosen career now??

He is starting to move his stuff in today while I'm at work.
Main reason being my housemate gave me notice 2 days ago that she had quit her job after an argument with her boss about her not doing any work and now she is moving back home to mummy!
Cool, I get the big room.... and the house to ourselves..!!! :-D

Apparently I haven't been posting enough lately. My apologies to all.

I shouldn't be here, I need to go to bed. Went swimming today and now my eyes are killing from the tons of toxic shit they dump in that little pool up at the Y! Guess we just found out where they decided to put the new Toxic Waste Dump. YMCA 25 metre pool Ballarat! If they had an igredients list for that pool, I swear that water would be last on the list! I look like a fricken Stoner whos run out of Clear Eyes!!!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Booked my tickets to go and see Peter Powers Hypnotist out at Bunninyong Golf Club for next Saturday! I can't WAIT! I think I have quite a task ahead of me trying to get Martin to volunteer though. I have a backup plan though! If he doesn't put his hand up, I can always pinch him hard enough on the arse so that he jumps up, and then the hypnotist will pick him because of his apparent eagerness MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Well, I don't know about him, but I sure am volunteering! I have no problem making a fool of myself! I do it enough after a few most Saturday nights, so kinda used to it
Well, only 1hour and 13mins left, so going to make the most of it by doing something/anything else.

Can't really be bothered writing much today. I'm here at 6, so THAT explains my mood!
Best thing is this is my last shift until next Monday!!! Longest holiday I reckon I've ever had here. Mainly because my half sister (who is 40yrs old) is coming down from Newcastle, my beautiful home town, to stay with me for the weekend. She has planned for us a weekend of decadence, fine food, and plenty of piss!!!
Oh yeah, we might go see Dad in between all that, the MAIN reason she was coming down before she heads to Europe...! ;-)
Well, now there is only 5 hours and 45mins, and then FREEDOM (for a few days at least)!!
Managed to talk Martin into coming for a 10.5k bike ride to the lake and around in the freezing cold and wet at 8:30 last night after work hehe. Thanx hun!
Speaking of that, We're going "old school" tonight, and heading to the bowling alley. Should be fun!!!!

NOTE TO SELF:
- Never go to a 21st with money on the bar again...or if you do, make sure you get rid of your fricken shift the next DAY!!!
Don't even reckon I actually had all that much wine to drink at the party, but I forgot to have tea, so got drunk pretty quickly. The worst thing? Besides teaching a 5yr old and a 3yr old to rap to Eminem...., I took over the video work so that the birthday girls sister could get even drunker and dance! Unfortunately, I didn't care about getting drunk and doing the video at the same time! Can't WAIT to see THAT video...Arrgghh!! Memories!!.....I THINK I got the speeches..nah.., I'm SURE I did.....
Actually, now that I think of it, I even did a documentry on me, at the request of her Aunty, coz in her Aunties words, I'm "cool and a funny drunk" haha!!!
My costume worked well. I had my cammo pants, an army shirt and hat, a toy gun and cammo paint all over my face! The other costumes people wore were fantastic as well!
It was even funnier that we all went out afterwards still dressed up. God people are fuckwits though..All night I got asked "Are you really in the army? My response was "yes. I've just come back from war" and some people ACTUALLY believe me. Like all army dudes go out dressed in their army get-up...!!
All night though I got: "We can't see you...you're camouflaged!" or "Can only see your hands and feet". So original haha!
Thank GOD for Marty being there to hold me up...literally, and check I was still breathing when we finally got to bed! Even when we couldn't get into the George because apparently I was too drunk! Went for a walk, then went back and he let us in!
Eating my tuna pasta bake now, shall leave it at that. Must point out though..GOD I'm a good cook these days! I'm learning!!

Poor me! I have 3 stiches in my Forehead where the Doc cut out a huge cyst on Wednesday!
My doctor is the BEST doctor, with the best sense of humour, but he just LOVES taking to me with a knife and needles and other pointy things.
Last time I went, I had to have acupunture! I'm glad HE finds it funny, but it's ok, 'coz I'm tough, and needles don't bother me, except the one he put in my arm for the Local I had to have there as well. FUCKING OUCH!!!..and I actually have quite a high pain tolerance!!!!!!
Have a dress up 21st party tonight, and I am going as a sort of funky G.I. Jane, with cammo paint and the whole outfit! Hehe, should be a bit of a laugh! I'm even going to buy a toy gun today!
Gunna be one kick-arse chick, unlike these others going as 'Snow White and Barbie and all that. WEAK I SAY, WEEAAAKKK!! Tell you what, I'm gunna kick some Barbie arse at this party!... Will pop a cap up Barbies arse!... Open a can of whoop-ass on that slutty ghetto-bitch!....or so you might say!!.
....Hmmmm, maybe I'll just get drunk instead! :-p
Well this woman has been on hold for labout 10 mins now while I wrote this, as I wait for a certain National Ops manager to reset a password for her!
- Just to note, it's still quite warm in here without the heaters, but apparently it's going to get colder, and be VERY cold by tonight! My heart goes out to all those (crazy people) doing a night shift tonight.

I know I just put a post in, but I have to mention the day I picked up the best bargain ever..
Picked up a classic issue of CLEO (September 1984 issue) for 20c...THATS RIGHT FOLKS...20c!!! All thanks to the Op Shop in Lydiard St.
These are the best issues for the following reasons:
- A time BEFORE 60% of the mag was made up of ads.
- The car ads for the 1984 Sports Laser (hahaha!)
- Funny fashions
- It was a time before women discovered the art of tweezing their eyebrows...geeeeez!
- The sealed sections (that are a WHOLE lot of writing, and no naugty pics...ohhh, love the conservative 80s!)
- My favorite?: Articles like "Dinner Calamaties" and "How to Drive in the City"...Classics!

My Week to date.
Have been crook as a dog this past week.
Spent a great romantic evening in Lorne on Wednesday night with Marty. The next day was raining AND freezing but it didn't matter. His dad leant me his HUGE Windblocker jacket and Raincoat, so I wore both at the sametime and we headed to Triplet Falls near Apollo Bay, which was just amazing! We had to give The Fly (a treewalk) a miss tho coz after all that trekking in the rain, my hands were turning blue, and apart from me being sick I had also made Marty sick and we both had sore throats and sniffles so headed straight home through Colac.
So besides the freezing cold rain and us both being sick,
we both still managed to have a great time!
The best part of the journey home? I won the game Spotto on the drive back, coz I'm better! :-p
My philosophy on playing games? It's fun....If your winning.

- Party got kicking once Marty, Steve and I got there (hehe, just kidding)
- Drank there for a while. Special thanks to Ryan who acted as a Coffee Table for a good part of the night, even if he DID chip his tooth...
- Headed to Irish, walked into the female toilets only to realise that there were 2 people shagging in a cubicle, and a Barmaid came in and told the guy to leave. Gotta love the sound of a zipper being done up and mumbled curse words!
- Marty and I headed home about 2ish, so didn't get to go to the Arms....can't wait to hear the stories from THERE!!!

Well, here I am on one of my crazy 6am starts..
Managed to race Marty this morning and WIN as we both left my house (although I'm not sure if he was Aware that we were racing, but that's beside the point!!!)
Also, yesterday marked my longest relationship ever...exactly 4 WHOLE weeks! Awwwww! :-p
The funniest thing is that we realised that in those whole 4 weeks, there has not been ONE day where we have not seen each other..... And we're STILL together :-p
Which means MENZIES> YOU LOST THE BET AS WELL!!! :-) 3 words for you> Told 'ya so!!!
Well, only 5.5 hours left now...Then NO work until Friday Evening. Its like I'm on holidays or something I'm that excited!
...Speaking of holidays, I can't WAIT until next Wednesday. Marty is booking a hotel room down in Lorne, and we're going for a drive down there and spending the night. Meeting with his family down there for tea, but the rest of it should be good! (hehe :-p)
